First Day of School Tradition

I really wanted to start a First Day of School tradition.  I decided that every year on the first day of school, we would go get ice cream.  Ice cream is not something that the kids will outgrow.  Even in high school, they will still want ice cream.  There are also lots of different kinds of ice cream and places to get it.  This year, I took Macie to Coldstone.  She had a coupon for a free kid's creation from the Summer Reading Program.  She got chocolate ice cream with Reese pieces in it.  I got peanut butter cup perfection.  It was super yummy!  It was nice to spend a little time with my school girl!
