Macie had a pretty good day and got to share her cupcakes with her friends. She was a little disturbed though that Brennan doesn't eat "muffins" very well and didn't want a cupcake. I mean...who doesn't like cupcakes!?! I picked the kids up right away after school. Once we were home, we finished the Tangled movie, cleaned up the house, packed a bag, and made dinner.
For dinner, Macie asked for french toast casserole and bacon. We ate quickly and then she opened a card from Grammie and Pops and a present from us.
After her gift, we loaded up and met Grandpa, Grandma, Grams B., and Aunt Allie at Orange Leaf. Macie had a good time picking her pink ice cream and putting toppings on it, but she got out of control fast! I have to be honest, this was my first time at Orange Leaf and it was just OK for me. The frozen yogurt is yummy, but the place was packed and is not really set up for small children. The chairs are crazy and they about fell out of them a million times. I could honestly care less if I made it back there or not. Macie was acting horribly, so we didn't stay long at all. This was probably a birthday flop!
Once home, we did our bedtime routine and I was able to spend a little time with Macie. She was giggling and talking to Lilah. It was a great way to end the day.
Macie had LOTS of phone calls and well wishes. Happy Birthday Macie...we love you!!!
There was three dollar bills inside...Macie was thrilled!
