Lunch Date

Yesterday morning, Brian took Macie to her gymnastics class. Then, they picked up Gavin, Lilah, and me. We took the kids to my parents' house so we could go on a date. My parents were kind enough to keep the kids for a while and feed them lunch. It was the first time I've been away from Lilah and she did great! Brian and I were only gone about an hour, but it was much needed. We used some of our gift cards and had a yummy lunch at Red Lobster. It's always nice to enjoy a meal and have adult conversation! Brian and I are going to work really hard to go on a date at least once a month this year. That doesn't sound like much, but we get so busy and never seem to make time for it. Hopefully, this year will be different!
