Mitchell Family Baby Shower

On Sunday, Brian's family threw me a baby shower. It was held at a mexican restaurant in Madisonville......yummy, my favorite food. Macie Lu got tons of gifts! I was so excited to bring them home and put them all together and organize her room! I'm sure she will appreciate them when she gets here!
Me holding a diaper cake from Brian's sister....I wonder how long those diapers will last?
Macie's first Build-A-Bear.....in a Colt's cheerleading uniform of course!

Jesse's Wedding

On Friday, July 25th, Brian's best friend, Jesse, married Kasondra. Brian was the best man. It was a very small wedding in a beautiful setting. We were the only non-related guests, so we felt very honored to be a part of their special day.

I look huge here....is it the dress or am I really that big?

Brian and Jesse... or Chuck and Larry??

The happy couple!

Bumpin' Bellies

Today, I helped to throw a baby shower for my cousin, Katie. She is due August 29th, but I think she may go before that. Katie is just one of four cousins who are pregnant. What a baby boom!! I hope that our babies grow up and have as many fun times as we did.

St. Louis Getaway

Brian and I went to St. Louis for the Fourth of July and as an early birthday present to me (my actual birthday is July 14th). All I wanted for my birthday this year was to go and eat at The Melting Pot and there isn't one in Evansville. Brian and I love St. Louis and we figured that we may not get a chance to go way, just the two of us, for a while!

Me standing in the spot down by the arch where Brian proposed to me. Sort of a full circle moment now that we are expecting!!

Brian showing he isn't scared of the T-rex at the Science Center

Me using my magic powers to stir up a storm

Brian couldn't resist, he just had to play!

At the Melting Pot you get a four-course meal: cheese fondue, salad, entree cooked in boiling sauce of your choice and then chocolate fondue for dessert.

Everything is cooked on your table in front of you

The entree comes out raw and you cook it yourself. Look at the yummy selection!

What a spread!! Lots of dipping sauces too!

A cozy table for two...and a half!

Me blowing out my birthday candle before digging into the chocolate fondue...milk chocolate with crunchy peanut butter....yummy!!
