#7 Franklin Family Christmas

Our last, and final Christmas, was with the Franklin Family (Grammie's side).  It was at Randy and Jackie's house.  The kids did pretty well overall, but were a little cranky because they hadn't napped.  There are also a lot of pretty things there that Brian and I were terrified they would break:(  We opened gifts, at a delicious meal, visited for a bit, and then headed back to Evansville.  We didn't stay super long because the kids were exhausted (and so were we) and they were calling for snow.  Once we were home, it was time to unload the car.  Our house seriously looked like a toy store exploded from all of the Christmas celebrations!  Thank you to everyone who made this a wonderful Christmas for my family!  I hope everyone was as blessed as we were!
Uncle Jeff...aka Bodine...was a hit with the kids!
We turned Lilah's car seat around on Christmas day and she is MUCH happier now that she can watch movies like the big kids!

Poor Parker started not feeling very well:(
Can you tell Macie is excited about her Rapunzel doll?

#6 Mitchell Family Christmas

After having Christmas at our house, we loaded up and headed to Madisonville to spend time with Brian's family.  We hadn't been to Madisonville on Christmas the last two years, so it was nice to see everyone again.  Our first stop was the Mitchell Family (Pops' side).  They always have it in a church gathering hall which I like.  It is a big open space and the kids can run around and play.  Overall, they were very well behaved on this day.  MUCH much better than Christmas Eve.  The kids played with Parker, Megan, and their other cousins.  We ate a yummy lunch of finger foods and then opened presents.  Once again, the kids were spoiled.  Macie even got another Lalaloopsy which she was thrilled about!  We spent a few hours there before heading to our final Christmas stop!

 I love my family!!

Gavin was so happy to get his "own" computer!  Macie has one and now he has one, too!

#5 Christmas Morning

Christmas morning started bright and early.  All of the kids ended up in our bed.  We then went to see if Santa had left any gifts and he had!  The kids were also excited to see that Santa had eaten most of the cookies and only left a few crumbs.  I'm sure that he gets full eating all of those cookies.  We opened presents first.  I helped the kids open the boxes while Daddy made breakfast.  We ate on my Christmas dishes from Grandma Wolf.  Right before we ate, Brian read the story of Jesus' birth from the Bible.  These are traditions we have done every year since we've been married and I love that time just the 5 of us.  After that, it was time to get ready for the day!

Macie got lotion and perfume from Santa and that has been one of her favorite gifts by far!

Now Gavin can grill like Grandpa and Daddy!

 More matching pjs!!!
