Welcome Home Daddy!

Boy were we happy to pick up Daddy at the airport.  The tsa lady thought the kids were super cute and gave them sticker badges while we waited. Daddy was only home for a few hours before he went to bartend.  Uncle John also came to visit so it was a hectic afternoon.  The kids handled it all pretty well, but it took some time to adjust.

Daddy brought home some gifts for us!  He got the kids each a new picture for their wall and me some wine!

First Soccer Game

Macie’s first soccer game was on September 20th.  She had a big cheering section.  Grammie, Pops, Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Allie all came.  Miss Heather and the girls also came to watch Macie and Lilly.  Daddy wasn’t able to be there because he was still in New Jersey.  Macie did very well for her first game.  She was so into it and LOVES soccer.  She was close to scoring.  Their team won and is really good.  I really like their coach.  He is so good with them and she is learning so much.  After the game, we went to Kiplee’s for lunch before picking up daddy at the airport.

TJ’s Apple Orchard

Gavin was took his first field trip as a butterfly to TJ’s Apple Orchard on Friday, September 19th.  I wasn’t able to go, but I’m so lucky that my friend and one of his teachers sent me pictures.  Gavin was so excited to go back there.  He got an apple, pumpkin, business card, tried the cider, and took a tour.  At the end, the kids were able to ask questions.  Most kids were saying things like, “I like apples”.  Gavin raised his hand and something like, “When the reindeer knock the apples off of the trees, do they use their antlers?”  They were all impressed with his question.  That boy is always thinking!!
