Brushing Gums

After Gavin's bath tonight, Brian brushed his gums for the first time. He loved it! He has already been drooling like crazy and loves to suck on your finger. Sometimes Macie will put her finger in his mouth and he will start chewing on it. He has also been grabbing onto everything and chewing on taggies. I'm sure we still have a long way to go before a tooth pops up, but something is happening in that mouth!!

Tisses

Macie was once again wanting to hold Gavin. She kept saying, "tiss, tiss". Gavin had been screaming while I was finishing up Macie's bath and he calmed down immediately when I put him in her lap. What a sweet big sister! I love to see them interact together!!!

Veggies!

Tonight, Gavin entered the world of veggies. He is doing pretty well with the cereal, so I started feeding it to him in the mornings. I gave him peas first because that is the first veggie we gave Macie. He absolutely LOVED it! He ate them all up in no time. I will give him a bigger portion tomorrow. He cracked me up because at the end he grabbed onto the spoon and wouldn't let go. I guess next time he will feed himself! Our little guy is growing so quickly before our very eyes!

Enjoying a beautiful day!

Today ended up being a beautiful day! After spending the morning running errands and grocery shopping, we spent the rest of the day in our backyard. I got out some sidewalk chalk for the first time. Macie got it in her Easter basket and we hadn't even opened it yet. We also played with bubbles. It was so windy that we could hold the wand out to make them. She had a blast, but she spent the most time in her swing. That girl could stay in her swing for hours! Gavin loved kicking and playing on his blanket in the shade. He also practiced sitting up. Brian grilled a pork steak for him and turkey breasts for me. It was delicious and we even have some turkey left over for salads tomorrow. After a fun day outside, we did our movie night because I will be gone tomorrow. What a fun day! I just love spending time with my family!
