WDW Vacation ~ Day 6

On Day 6, we headed back to Magic Kingdom.  Originally, we thought that we would go for a while in the morning, take a break, and then head back for the evening.  We ended up just staying longer in the morning until the afternoon and swimming in the evening at the hotel.

After the opening show, the five of us rushed over to Elena and Cinderella to try one more time for the pictures.  Then we saw Tiana and Rapunzel while everyone else rode the Winnie the Pooh ride.  We also rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Small World, Monster's, Inc. Laugh Floor, Peter Pan's Flight, Under the Sea Little Mermaid, and Space Mountain twice!  We saw the Country Bear Jamboree show and ran into Mary Poppins which Gavin was happy about because he likes that movie!

While we were on the Thunder Mountain Railroad, it started to rain.  The ride was fun in the rain.  Then, it started to pour on our way to Space Mountain.  We were soaked all of the way through.  We made it in time for our FastPass though.  Space Mountain is one of my favorite rides and Gavin loved it, but the first time through he was so worried about losing his glasses he didn't get to fully enjoy the ride.

Brian and the girls headed back after lunch and the Laugh Factory, so I told Gavin I would take him on one more roller coaster of his choice.  Allie stayed with us and he chose Space Mountain again.  I was happy because it was close to where we were, the line wasn't too long, and it's one of my favorites.  The ride isn't the same every time and our second ride was better than our first!  I'm glad I got to do that one more time!  When we got back to the room, we changed into our swimsuits and spent the evening in the pool.

Cinderella asked Gavin if his carriage was made from a cherry since it is red.  She offered to let him race her pumpkin carriage and the strawberry carriage that is for the mice!

WDW Vacation ~ Day 5

Our 5th day was a rest day.  The plan was to sleep in with no alarms, do laundry, swim, and then in the evening head back to Disney Springs for some more shopping and dinner at T-Rex.  We spent time walking around the resort and taking pictures.  The T-Rex restaurant was really neat and food was delicious!  We were able to all sit at one big round table.

As we were leaving Disney Springs, we stumbled upon a DJ who did a dance competition for the kids.  It was fun and we hung out there for a while before heading back to the hotel.

We also spent some time in the gift shop at the resort.  The girls had fun trying on different hats!

Macie bought this adorable wrist-let at the resort gift shop and she was able to use it for her money for the rest of the week!

My little shopping diva wanted to buy EVERYTHING, but she only used her money and made some good purchases!
