Lilah was up around 5, but the other kids weren’t up until after 6! We went into the kitchen to see what the Easter Bunny had left. The kids were thrilled to find out that he had left jellybeans in place of the carrots again. They were also happy with all of their treasures! He even brought our family an ice cream cupcake set. I gave the kids a sample Time for Kids magazine. We had a simple breakfast and got ready to go to church.
The only bad news was that Macie was sick. All day Saturday, she complained of an upset belly. She went to the bathroom several times, but I thought it was just all of the chaos. Unfortunately, it kept going and I could tell she was sick. She didn’t eat all day today and ran a low grade fever. We still went to Mass and Aunt Allie’s house, but opted out of our later plans.
