Charlie Horse!!

Throughout this pregnancy, I've had lots of charlie horses in my legs. For the most part, they are minor and no big deal. Last night was a different story. I started screaming and couldn't help it. Brian woke up freaking out. Once he realized that I wasn't in labor, he had to help me. The crazy thing is, I kept having them over and over. It almost was comical at one point. I couldn't walk or anything. Finally, I was able to get it under control and relax enough to sleep.
This morning, Brian massaged my leg because it was really sore. He did it again for me once the kids were home. At first it freaked them out, but once they realized I was OK, they were fine. We told them I hurt my leg, so they started putting stickers on my leg to make it feel better. Too sweet! Let's hope tonight is a different story!

Cookie Swap

Last night Allie had her 3rd Annual Cookie Swap. Brian had to bartend so the kids spent the night in Sturgis. I missed everyone, but it was nice to be kid and husband free! Allie had a good turnout and it was good for her. She's had a rough week. Her house was robbed on Wednesday and all of her camera equipment was taken as well as some other items. While the teens are now in jail and some of her stuff has been returned, she will never get everything back.
I look forward to Allie's party every year and this year was no exception. Doesn't every pregnant woman love to bring home a plate of cookies?

Allie makes all of the food and always does a great job!
Lots of cookies!

Some people have more time than me:)

What's that smell?

Lately, Macie has been asking us, "What's that smell?" I guess she is just now realizing that things have a smell to them. Often times, she is the first one to detect a dirty diaper.

For the last week or so my nose has been on super drive! Everything smells so strongly to me and most things make me nauseous. I SWEAR there is something rotten in the fridge at work, but no one else smells it but me. I seriously don't even like to put my lunch box in there because it smells when I get home. I guess they are going to pay for it later when they discover a moldy mess in the back. Can't say I didn't try to warn them:)
