Cookies for Santa

About a month ago, I made some chocolate chip cookie dough to freeze so that we could make cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. I knew that I wouldn't feel up to making it after having Lilah. Christmas Eve night after dinner, we made the cookies. I gave each child a bowl of cookie dough and we helped them to put it on the pan. The kids were so excited to leave out cookies for Santa. For the past few years, I've used a plate from my Christmas dishes to put the cookies on. Next year, I plan to make a plate for cookies for Santa. I'm glad that I waited because now all three kids will get to help make it!

She's At It Again

I love to post pictures that have been taken by my budding photographer. Macie is getting better and better each time she takes pictures. Some day, we will have to get her a camera of her own!

Reindeer Food

A little boy at daycare gave Macie and Gavin a jar of reindeer food. They couldn't wait to sprinkle it in the front yard. Daddy helped and Lilah and I stood at the front door and watched. I sure hope those reindeer were hungry!

Hoping Santa would come!
