Tuesday night, we went to the zoo for Member Appreciation night. There was a long line to get in. We ran into Miss Heather and her girls in the parking lot, so we walked around with them. We did several things we don’t usually get to do. We went in the commissary and vet building, brushed the goats, road in the bumper boats, watched Okir (the komodo dragon) go through training to be fed, and see the back of Okir’s cage. The kids loved it all and Macie asked a lot of questions. Bumper boats were also a hit because they had never done anything like that before. Brian had to get in there with them. It was a neat experience and we will have to try to remember to go back next year!
