Since Brian had been gone, he took the kids for a few hours on Saturday morning. He took them to the farm and then to the library for Daddy and Me story time. That afternoon, we all went to Tanner’s graduation party and then headed to Sturgis to celebrate Father’s Day with Pops. Lilah was thrilled to get her bag of pennies and Pops treated everyone to donuts!
The next morning, we let Brian sleep in and then brought him breakfast in bed. Macie gave him a bracelet she made and Gavin gave him a gift he made at school. Lilah and I got him a six pack of random beers he wanted to try.
We had a great “spontaneous Sunday”. We went to the west side Walmart and stocked up on deals ($11.50 for all you see below), tried to go to Chucke Cheese (but they weren’t open), picked up lunch from Long John Silvers, went to Audobon for a picnic and playing, and then home for a family nap. After nap, we went to my parents’ house for dinner. Happy Father’s Day to Brian, Pops, and Grandpa! We love you!!
