Friday night, we went to Seton for the sweet potato dig. It was cold, rainy, and windy, but we had so much fun. We were covered in mud from head to toe. The kids actually worked really hard digging for sweet potatoes and filling crates. We got all of our volunteer hours in. I was relieved about that. Afterwards, we stayed for some snacks, music, and fellowship. We ended up running into the seminarian from Kenya who just came to our parish. It was nice to spend some time with him. This is something we will definitely be doing again next year!
