Last weekend, Brian and my dad finished the run for the coup. We were able to let the chickens out. Each day, we open their door to let them out and then close them up at night. The cool thing is, they are already trained that when it starts getting dark, they all go inside. This makes it a lot easier. At first, we didn’t have anything on the board and they just slid down the ramp. But we added some shingles and they worked perfectly! I am so proud of our little coup. It looks nice in our yard and honestly, I feel like we’ve had the chickens forever. They are definitely a part of our family now! Next up…letting them roam the yard!
