Weenie Roast

I’ve been wanting to have a weenie roast for a while now.  I wanted a chance to hang out with friends and show off our yard.  The cool thing was, most people said yes and we had a yard full of about 40!  The kids were full force from the moment they arrived.  They bobbed for apples, got glow bracelets, pet a chicken, drew with chalk, played on the playground, played washers, and just ran like crazy!  I was worried it would be too cold and windy, but thankfully the wind died down.  The Coomes’ family brought an extra fire pit, so we had the perfect set up.  Everyone had fun and we hope to do it again next year!  Allie and I took a ton of pictures, so beware!
I almost forgot... When we were at the party, Gavin ran up to me and said, "this is the best night ever!!!" Yes, I think it was a success!
