Gavin started out his day with breakfast at IHOP and ice cream! He wanted a football themed party, and since his actual birthday was on Super Bowl, it worked out perfectly! For 5th birthdays, we have a smaller family and godparent party and then take a little trip just the five of us. The party had good food and good company. Gavin loved all of his presents (too bad I packed most of them away to stage the house to sell) and has been having fun rediscovering them at the new house! That night, we watched the Super Bowl at home. Wow...5 years went by fast!
