...Gavin ate SNAILS!
This year, I read off a lot of the food items to the kids from the Munchie Map. Gavin heard there were snails and really wanted to try them. I told him I wasn't sure and that we would see. When we got to the booth, we saw that they were only $3 so we allowed him to try.
He loved them! They weren't fried or anything, but in a garlic butter sauce. He said they tasted like mushrooms. He shared them with Daddy. The people in the booth were cheering for him. I'm sure they do not have many young kids coming and asking for snails!
