Macie's Four, Let's Have a S'more!

We were able to have Macie's party in our backyard.  The theme was, "Macie's 4, Let's Have a S'more!"  We roasted hot dogs, made s'mores, and had chips and cupcakes.  For her party this year, I mainly invited families that had kids Macie knew well and played with on a regular basis.  I took her shopping for all of the supplies and she picked out the napkins, plates, and table cloths.  She even made the centerpieces, so it was a party all about her!  She was a little bit overwhelmed when everyone showed up, but she had the best time.  She was running around like a crazy person and wasn't shy or bashful at all!  At one point, she was even carrying around a worm for everyone to see.  Yes, my daughter was holding a worm!  She even shouted out, "Anyone want to see this worm?"  It was super cute.  There were about 30 people there and it was such a nice and relaxing party.  It just felt like a cookout! Thanks to everyone who helped Macie have a wonderful birthday!!

Macie got lots of great presents, including many new outfits!  We got her a pair of jeggings, four Berenstain Bear books, and a dry erase board set.

 Holding the worm!
The hot dogs were in the bucket and I used the small jack-o-lanterns to hold grape tomatoes.  Tomatoes are Macie's favorite food, so I had to have them at the party!
I was so proud of my cupcakes!  The toppings were the ingredients of a s'more: milk chocolate icing, graham cracker crumbs, and marshmallows!  Macie picked out strawberry cupcakes because they were pink!
Macie was so cute when we sang "Happy Birthday", but she wasn't too thrilled about the fact that the wind blew out her candle!
Uncle Wil found some roly poly bugs for her!
Aunt Allie took all of the pictures!  Thanks!!
