We woke up bright and early Easter morning and headed to 8:00 Mass. I was hoping this Mass wouldn't be as crowded or take as long. Well, it wasn't too crowded but Mass lasted an hour and a half! That being said, the kids were great! Gavin slept the entire time in his
car seat and he stayed there until it was time to go up for communion. Even then, he was good as gold.
Macie was also very well behaved! She was very into what was going on around her and loved the snacks of course. She even fell asleep about half way through and stayed asleep until Mass was over. Brian and I were actually able to enjoy Mass and left feeling like we got something out of it. What a great feeling!
On the way home, we told
Macie that because she was such a good girl, we could now go home and see what the Easter Bunny brought for her. She was thrilled with all of her goodies. After looking in our Easter baskets, Brian and I packed up for the day and headed to our next destination.
Macie's goodies: Elmo bath toy net, Tinkerbell lawn chair, Minnie
pjs, sidewalk chalk, bath toys, and a hair bow. I think the plastic eggs and sidewalk chalk were her favorites!
Gavin's goodies: bath towels and wash cloths, shorts and a shirt.
