On Saturday, March 9th (yes, I’m that far behind on blogging), we had a busy day! We started out dropping off some cookies at my cousin’s house because her son, Trey, had surgery a few days before. The kids made him cards and cookies. Then, we met my family at Kipplee’s for lunch to celebrate Grandpa’s birthday. The kids also made him cards and cookies. We also bought him a case of his favorite beverage! After lunch, we headed home for naps.
Once the kids were up and ready, we met Grandma, Aunt Allie, and Aunt Annie at the zoo. Brian worked out with his friend while we were there. We had a great time at the zoo. We hadn’t been in a while and it was crowded since it was a nice day. After the zoo, we all went back to mom and dad’s house for dinner. Brian met us over there. Dad grilled, and my sisters and I made all of the sides. We didn’t want mom to have to do much because she was spending most of the weekend at the hospital with Grandma Wolf.
During dinner, Lilah started not feeling better and was laying her head down on Brian and eating at the same time. It was so funny! It was a busy day, but a fun one!
