O Christmas Tree

Macie and Gavin kept surprising me with things during our snow days.  One day when I was doing something in the kitchen, they asked me not to come in the living room until they were ready.  I was a little skeptical, but I walked in to find they had torn up a magazine, were twisting the papers to make more ornaments and decorations for our tree.  Since then, they’ve added books and necklaces.  They were so proud of their work.  Even though it is totally crazy, it is super cute.  They’ve been really creative lately and this is one of those battles I’m choosing not to fight.  Someday, I won’t have little kids in my house to decorate a tree.  For now, I am cherishing each moment!
