Today Gavin was baptised at Holy Spirit Church after the 10:30 Mass. Father said that we had to do it after Mass because it was during Lent. I think that I actually liked it after Mass better because it was a very intimate ceremony. I was worried about how Macie and Gavin would behave during Mass because we sat in the front row, but they did a great job. Macie was very much entertained by what was going on in front of her and of course the snacks helped. She hadn't taken a morning nap and she crashed at the end of Mass. She actually slept through the baptism. We had a nice group of family and friends who were able to be with us. Gavin cried a little bit when Father poured the water over his head, but it didn't last too long. Afterwards, we had everyone over for lunch. We had subway sandwiches, chips, veggies, apples and carmel dip, and cookies. Gavin got some great gifts. I think the best gift of all was the sunshine! It lifts your spirits!

Congrats!!! Bummer...we went to 8am Mass. It would have been great to see you and your family! I need to get over to see you and Gavin. Give me a shout if you ever want to go strolling at the Mall or meet for lunch. I can get out any day.
