Last Friday, Brian and I were able to have a "date day". We were both off work and took the kids to daycare so we could get stuff done. Brian took the kids and picked up donuts on the way home. It was so nice to lay in bed, eat donuts, and talk.
Once we were up for the day, we headed to the bank. We needed to cash in my pennies from school, open Lilah's savings account, and get some papers notarized. We finally got our wills, trust, and advanced directives finalized. I'm so happy to have this done. We had everything set up so that if something would happen to us, our kids would be taken care of.
After the bank, we went to Target to get diapers and the rest of the stuff we needed for Easter. We dropped the stuff off at home so I could pump and then went to lunch at Hacienda. Our last stop for "date day" was JC Penny. Brian had to exchange some shirts. We went together to pick up the kids. Overall, it was a productive day, but also very nice to be just the two of us!
