Because the kids were sick over the weekend, we missed Pops' 50th birthday party. After the evaluation, Brian and Gavin picked me up at school. Then, we went and picked up the girls from Miss Julie's before heading to Sturgis. We brought bbq chicken, chips, and deviled eggs. Grammie made baked beans and Aunt Katie made dessert. We had a great meal and gave Pops his birthday gift and Grammie her Mother's Day gift. After a fun visit, we headed home. The kids were WOUND UP! We left at 7:00, which is their bed time, so we were hoping they would sleep on the way home. However, that was not the case. They would have been bouncing off the walls of the van had they not been strapped in! We had a good time and as usual, came home with a van full of stuff!

These Semis were Brian's when he was a little boy. I guess it was one of his favorite toys. Grammie found four of them in the basement and cleaned them up. We brought two of them home for the kids to play with. They are actually collectibles and could be worth some money, but we want the kids to play with them like Daddy did!
