Brian had already planned to take Monday off to take the girls to the doctor for their well visits. Unfortunately, he had to stay home because they were sick. He took them to the doctor, but they weren't able to get their shots as planned.
Here are the stats:
Macie weighs 40.5 pounds (82nd percentile) and is 38 5/8 inches tall (50th percentile).
Lilah weighs 20 pounds 13.5 ounces (60th percentile) and is 28.5 inches tall (20th percentile). She has made a big improvement since last time!
Overall, Dr. Voyles was impressed with both girls' progress. He commented on how many teeth Lilah had. He recommended that we keep her on whole milk until 2 for brain development. Lilah has to go back for shots in a week or two, but Macie can wait until her 5 year check up. She was disappointed about that believe it or not! Both girls had a fever and he said they had "flu like symptoms" even though he didn't test directly for it. Something about that word, "FLU", is so scary, even though I know Brian had it. We kept the girls home again today and plan to send them back tomorrow fever free. Gavin and I have stayed in the clear, and I'm hoping we stay that way!
