Making Ornaments and Gifts

Back in November, Macie and Gavin made Christmas tree ornaments for some family and friends. We took lots of pictures, but we couldn't post them at the time because I didn't want to give away the surprise! I let Macie pick the color she wanted to use and she picked orange. She picked red for Gavin. Then, I let Macie put a yellow star at the top. It was a little stressful (which was to be expected) but a lot of fun. On the back of each ornament, I wrote the year and what color each child used. Last year snowmen, this year Christmas trees...what's next??

The finished products

I made a lot of gifts this year. I painted a lot of glasses and mugs and made thank you cards and card sets. I am very pleased with how they turned out. Brian thinks I should start a side business, but I'm not sure that my skills are quite at that level yet!
