Painting Pumpkins

Last night, we took the kids to Aldi and picked out pumpkins. We originally wanted to go to a pumpkin patch, but because of time and money, it wasn't going to work out. Aldi had pumpkins for $2.99 and they were huge!
Today, we took the pumpkins outside and painted them. Macie was SO into it. It was so much fun to watch her use each and every color and think about each and every stroke of the brush. Gavin painted some, but got bored quickly. He was much more into carrying around the bag of paint brushes. Even though they are only 15 months apart, sometimes they are on totally different levels! The pumpkins turned out great and are the perfect addition to our front porch!
