Macie at 3

Here is what Macie is up to at 3:

• Macie is still pretty much on the same schedule she's been on since 9 months. She wakes up around 6, eats breakfast starting between 7-7:30, has lunch at 11, naps right after lunch, snack at 2:30, starts dinner between 5-5:30, and is in bed by 7:30 at the latest. Some nights she is in bed by 6:30 based on how well she napped and her behavior.


• Macie is 100% potty trained! Of course, we have an occasional accident, but for the most part she is there!


• Macie still likes Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, but she also likes to watch Dora, Diego, and a few other shows as well. She asks to watch "wedding shows" and "Suze" with mommy and "baseball" with daddy. She is happy to cuddle with us while watching these shows. She is also very into movies. Movie night continues to be one of her favorite nights of the week.


• Macie can be very shy/reserved in new situations and around people she doesn't see often, but once she warms up, watch out! She is loud, bossy, rambunctious, and full of life.


• Macie loves her little brother and wants to play with him. She doesn't like it when things don't go exactly as planned, but she tries to include him in everything! She is pumped about Lilah coming and plans to changer her diapers, feed, and play with her.


• Macie loves to take her "stuff" everywhere and is always packing a bag. It can be aggravating at times when we are trying to get out the door, but it is cute at the same time.


• Macie has a HUGE vocabulary and can carry on conversations that blow me away. She is also pretty independent and can dress herself with very little help.


• I could go on and on about Miss Macie, but for the sake of time, I'll stop. Even though she is quite the challenge, there isn't a dull moment with her around. We love that little girl more than words can say!
