We were able to find the name of the doctor who diagnosed Gavin. He is Dr. Francis E. Marshalleck. He is an Interventional Radiologist. We found him on the IU Health website. We wanted his name for future reference.
Gavin's surgery has also been scheduled for Friday, August 31st. We won't know the time until the day before. I guess they schedule a set number of patients and them put them in order from the youngest to oldest. Right now, Gavin is the youngest on the list, so he will be first or second in line. I think she said there was only one more spot to fill. Crazy thing is, we will probably have to be there by 6am...Indy time! Should be interesting!
I already got someone to take care of the girls. Brian is able to get off, but they aren't thrilled because it's the last day of the month. I'm just happy because we don't have school that day and will only be missing professional development. I'm also happy that it is Labor Day weekend, so we have a few extra days if something goes wrong.
