Dada:
Gavin said his first consonant sounds today. He said, "Dada" of course. Even though he doesn't know what he is saying, it is still exciting! Now, we just have to work on "Mama"!
Burpcloth:
Macie is very attached to her burpcloth. It is her comfort in new situations and she loves to sleep with it. She is always telling us who things belong to...."Mae brpcth" "Dadin brpcth". Well, one day she got so excited and said, "Mae brpcth" and the she put it to her face. She smelled it, got a horrible look on her face, and said, "No Dadins" in disgust. It was the funniest thing!
Who dat? Wuh zat?:
Every time we see someone new, Macie points at them and says "Who dat?". It can be adorable, but also terribly embarrassing. When we went to Kohls last week to get Gavin's Halloween costume, she kept pointing to every person in the store! She also asks what things are. She is a curious little thing just like her Daddy!
