A Day with the "Big" Kids

Wednesday, Brian and I decided to spend the day with the "big" kids.  Gavin had therapy, so Macie and Daddy dropped off Lilah at daycare and ran to the bank.  When therapy was over, we started our day.  We went to Walmart, Wesselmans for a picnic lunch, to the movies, and to EMTRAC downtown. At Walmart, we had to get stuff to make a cake for our social.  We also picked up some corn on the cob to take to my parents that night for dinner and stuff for lunch.  Then, we went to Wesselmans and ate "in the woods" as the kids said.  We sat in a shelter house that is kind of out of the way.  It was very nice and peaceful.  Our next stop was the movies.  We hadn't taken the kids to the movies before so we were super excited.  We had a gift card so we only ended up paying a dollar for all of us to get in, two drinks, and popcorn.  Not too bad of a deal if you ask me!  We saw the Lorax and it was a cute movie.  Gavin fell asleep about 30 minutes into it, so Brian held him.  Macie fell asleep with about ten minutes to go.  We told her she didn't miss any of the movie though.  Our final stop of our "big" kid day was the train museum downtown.  Gavin LOVES trains and we knew he would love this.  I hadn't been there in a long time.  It was neat.  I'm so glad that we were able to experience these things with our kids. We went to pick up Lilah and then to my parents' for dinner.  Another great day during our vacation week!
*The pictures are in reverse order and I'm way to lazy to go back and fix it!
