Happy Birthday Aunt Annie!

Annie turned 25 on Saturday!  To celebrate, we headed to Indy last Friday to spend the day with her.  Our original plans were to go to the zoo, but unfortunately it was closed that day.  What are the odds that the zoo is only closed one day a year and that was the day we picked?!? Instead, we met Annie, Charles, and his sister, Karsandra, at Teppanyaki Grill.  It was huge and delicious!  After lunch, we went to Holliday Park.  This park was awesome!  We started out playing on the huge playground.  There was so much to do and we all had fun.  Then, we went to look at the statues and ruins.  Our last stop in the park was the Nature Center.  There was so much to see in here!  This park and restaurant are close to where Annie and Charles are moving to soon.  It was nice to see her new complex as we drove by.  Grandma and Grandpa rode with us to save money on gas.  We stopped at Montana Mikes on the way home and the food was yummy once again!

Look at Macie and Daddy way up there!
She went down that big slide all by herself!

 So did Gavin!

Macie insisted on holding Uncle Charles' hand
These ruins were from a building in New York City.  The limestone is from Indiana so it was able to come back and be displayed in this park.

Macie and Gavin loved the drawers at the Nature Center, especially the one with animal poop!
Macie was thrilled that everything in the bathroom was "her size".  She could easily reach the soap...
sink...
and the paper towels!
