Thursday afternoon, I picked up the kids from daycare and we went to pick up Grandpa. We hung out with him for a little bit and took potty breaks before going to the social. Daddy and Aunt Allie met us there a bit later. The kids rode rides, played games, and ate food. Considering all of the chaos and fun, they were very well behaved! Lilah was upset she couldn’t ride anything so I ended up walking around with her a lot. She did play the duck pond game over and over and over. I finally told the girl, don’t worry about prizes, we are just going to play with ducks.
We put a lot of tickets in the Luck of the Draw and the kids even put in some tickets. Gavin won an airplane toy and we won a pizza and bowling party package worth $90!! That should be fun! Overall, the kids had a fun time at the social and are already talking about going back! I went back on Friday night to work the cake wheel. I love time with the family and look forward to next year when Lilah can ride some of the rides!
Yes, picking her nose, a new bad habit she has started!
