Thursday evening, Macie and I packed a picnic and had Brian, Gavin, and Lilah meet us down by the river. We ate dinner, took a walk to the river, and then let the kids play on the playground for a while. It wasn’t too hot and we had a fun night as a family. Brian and I have been going for walks with the kids a lot lately. We’ve been trying to change it up a bit and go different places. Since we let Macie and Gavin walk (instead of riding in the stroller), we didn’t go very far. Gavin’s legs were getting tired. This weekend, we went back downtown and took a 2 mile walk with them in the strollers. Talk about a workout! As always, I love spending time with our little family we’ve created and making memories with them!
