When we first started school, I spent a lot of time teaching my class the routine. I wasn't worried about the curriculum as much, so we did a lot of review. One of my students said, "If I had an easy button, I'd be pushing it right now!"
I was looking at a Thirty-One catolog tonight and Macie pointed to a nail file and asked, "Are you going to get one of those toe nail erasers?"
After dinner, Macie said, "I think I want to staighten my hair. I'm going to the bathroom." We asked her where she got this. We thought maybe because she'd been at Grammie's, she'd seen Aunt Katie straighten her hair. She just said, "well some people have straight hair." Too young to be changing her image!
