Lilah's Day Take 6 - 7 Months Old!

Today is Lilah's day with me and it just so happens to be her 7 month birthday!  I have no idea why 7 months seems so much older than 6 months, but it does!  As usual, Lilah and I have been playing, cuddling, and getting a few things done around the house.  We also took some duck pictures!

Here is what Lilah is up at at 7 months:

Lilah talks a lot more!  She babbles and babbles!  She is also super smiley and happy when she sees people she knows and loves.  If she is unsure, she will study them for a while before warming up.

She isn't crawling in a traditional way, but she knows how to get from one place to another.  She is also SO close to sitting herself up.  I know she could do it if she just realized she could. 

Lilah still loves to eat and now that she is on a good schedule, she seems to enjoy meal time.  She eats at 6am, 10am, 2pm, and 6pm.  She gets a little off from time to time, but overall it is the same.  Twice a day she just takes a 6ounce bottle and the other times she eats some food with her bottle.  Most of her food is baby food, but she has tried a few table foods now.  She's had applesauce, vanilla yogurt, and mashed potatoes. 

Lilah is a much better sleeper.  Although she still wakes up from time to time, it is much more peaceful at night time around here.  She now goes to bed with Macie and Gavin.  Such a big girl! 

She still only has her two bottom teeth, but I know the others are going to pop through at any time. 

Lilah is so much fun to play with.  She likes toys more and is very interested in the tile by the front door.  It feels a lot different than the carpet!   

Lately, Lilah has been getting upset when we leave the room.  We can no longer leave her in the living room while we are doing something.  She has to be in the middle of the action. 

We just all love her to pieces.  It is so neat to see Macie and Gavin adore her so much!
